I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Group Psychotherapist located in Baton Rouge, LA specializing in individual, couples and family therapy.
As a graduate of LSU School of Social Work with over 16 years experience, I work with a broad spectrum of clients, including those dealing with depression, anxiety, parenting, life cycle adjustment and issues related to the intersectionality of sexual, affectional and gender diversity.
Those who identify as bisexual, transgender, gay, poly, pan, BDSM or otherwise, will find a safe, nonjudgmental place to explore areas in which you would like to grow - which may or may not have anything to do with how you identify.
I am a supportive, interactive and straight-forward therapist. My therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. I integrate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, I provide support, feedback and an open atmosphere.
Tenets of My Practice include:
Providing unconditional postive regard
Increasing self compassion
Living life purposefully
Utilizing the ability to reflect and own our actions
